'Maroon 5'-Sänger Adam Levine hat sich selbst endlich gefunden und möchte nicht missverstanden werden.

"Ich denke, dass wir mit 'Overexposed' eine unerschrockene Pop-Platte vorgelegt haben, die meiner Meinung nach Wunder bewirken wird, weil das die erste Platte ist, die wir gemacht und dabei ganzheitlich akzeptiert haben, dass es das ist, was wir tun. Wir tun das mit Selbstbewusstsein", bekräftigte Adam Levine.

Maroon 5's latest album Overexposed includes the current hit Payphone, which features Wiz Khalifa. The band has also collaborated with pop princess and fellow The Voice judge Christina on the smash hit Moves Likes Jagger.
Adam has revealed where Maroon 5 lie in the music market.
"I think that we're finally not self-conscious about being a pop group," he explained.
"We're not a tried-and-true rock band, that's just not what we are? I think that we made like, an unabashed pop record [with Overexposed] which I think will do wonders for us because it's the first record we've really ever made in which we completely embrace the fact that this is what we do, this is where we want to be and we do it with confidence."
